• Spyware, malware and virus removal

     Are you getting a lot of pop-up windows while you are trying to do your work? Is your system running really slow or acting weird? 

This could be a sign of software installed on your system that is forcing you to watch ads or using your computer to distribute troublesome software to other computers.  There could also be software on your system that could be recording everything you type including credit card information or passwords.  Other programs act like anti-virus programs saying you have problems when in reality, they just want you to give them money.

How did i get this in the first place?

     These programs get installed through various means.  Certain websites can get very sneaky.  When you go to these sites, they pop up a window that sometimes imitates a windows on your desktop saying that you might have a virus and asks you to click next to start a scan.  When you do, it installs the offending program. 

     Other ways that malware can be installed on your system by unknowingly downloading and installing software that was claiming to be something else.  By the time you figure out it isn't what it says it is, it's too late.

These programs can be difficult to uninstall under by normal means. 

     We go into your computer and do scans and analyze the system.  Once the troublesome software is found, it is deleted from your system.  We then install an up to date anti-virus software program at no extra cost.  Most removal services should take around 3 hours.  Of course, deeply infected machines could take longer.  I encourage you to do some research and check out the prices of other virus removal services.

What if you can't remove the virus or malware?

There is malware out there that are nearly impossible to remove unless you format the system and reinstall your operating system.  If we can't remove the virus,  you will get a refund.

• Secure wireless and networking setup

     So, you got a new wireless router either through your cable or telephone company, or from the store.  You install the software and go through the steps to get it working, but for some reason the software just won't work.  When you call to ask about setting it up, the companies want to charge you $45 just to set it up remotely!  We will remote into your computer and set up your wireless router for $20!

• System Cleanup

Do you have too many search toolbars in your Internet Explorer web browser?

We will go in and remove the ones you don't want.  That way, you can actually find what your looking for. 

We will also clear out your temporary internet files, your cache and your temp folder and uninstall any unwanted programs.  This will help to speed up your system.
